Allegheny Valley Connector
The Allegheny Valley Connector (AVC) facilities include an approximately 200-mile FERC-regulated transmission pipeline that interconnects with the Mainline/Sunrise transmission and storage system in the Marcellus Shale region. The AVC facilities interconnect with Texas Eastern, Dominion Transmission, and Peoples Natural Gas Company. The AVC facilities provide 450 MMcf per day of additional firm capacity to the Equitrans system and are supported by four associated natural gas storage reservoirs with approximately 245 MMcf per day of peak withdrawal capacity, approximately 11 Bcf per day of working gas capacity and 11 compressor units, as of October 2016. Equitrans leases 2 Bcf of working storage capacity to Rager Mountain Storage Company.
Rager Mountain Storage Company LLC
The Rager Mountain Storage Company offers firm storage, parking and lending services from the Rager Mountain storage reservoir and an interconnect with Texas Eastern Pipeline. Rager Mountain Storage Company has a separate FERC gas tariff and offers services at FERC-approved market based rates.
